Robinson Crusoe

You are shipwrecked on a deserted island and must survive the elements. You place workers to build a shelter, craft tools, and gather food. The game constantly throws bad events at you, like bad weather or wild animal attacks. The choices are always difficult and you rarely have enough time to do everything you need. It is notoriously punishing and you will likely lose your first few attempts. It provides a very strong narrative and a deep sense of accomplishment when you finally win.
