You act as an aristocrat developing an estate in medieval France. You roll two dice each turn and use them to draft and place hex tiles. The tiles represent farms, cities, and mines that give you resources or special actions. You can easily mitigate bad dice rolls with workers. The core loop is extremely smooth and rewarding. It does not look very flashy on the table. However, the gameplay is incredibly solid and keeps you coming back for more. It is a solid choice. You will not regret putting this on the table.
