You are the leader of an ancient city gathering resources and building structures. Everyone drafts cards at the same time by picking one and passing the rest to the person next to them. You build up military strength to compare with your immediate neighbors at the end of each age. There is very little downtime since you all act simultaneously. You have to adapt your strategy based on what cards get passed to you. It handles larger groups well without taking any extra time to finish.
